Rubber Plastic and Trim Ceramic Coating
Keeping your plastic and rubber trims protected and looking fresh inside and outside of your car can be tricky. They are the first thing to deteriorate with our intense UV and the elements are prone to leaving water spots and creating fade.
Applying a Ceramic Coating is the best way to protect and preserve Plastics and trims. The Ceramic Liquid enhances and restores colour whilst giving UV protection
SGCB Auto Cares range of Ceramic Coatings are some of the most powerful and long lasting in the Industry. They have been manufactured in Japan by one of the most advance Ceramic Coating Chemical Companies. The Coatings all contain a high level of Silicon Dioxide (Sio2) that Chemically bond to surfaces giving a high resistance to water spots, UV and foreign debris.
Can be used on Dashboards, Door Cards, Centre Consoles, exterior rubber trims and raw plastic panels. Suitable for use on plastic and rubber engine covers and panels
1 x 30ml SGCB Plastic and Trim Ceramic Liquid
1 x Applicator Block
1 x Suede Coating Towel
1 x Protective Packaging and storage Box
Ensure that your plastic and rubber trims are clean by using a mild degreaser or mild Isopropyl cleaning solution to remove any traces of wax and contaminants
Ensure that all Plastics and Rubbers are Clean, Dust-Free and Dry.
Work in a clean and dry environment out of the Sun
Ensure surfaces are cool and the area is well ventilated
Nitrile Gloves are strongly recommended to carry out this procedure. Ceramic Coatings set very hard if in contact with skin and clothing. If product comes in contact with skin then immediately wash it off with a mild cleaner.
Take the SGCB Foam Backed Applicator Pad and Place the Suede towel around the face
Carefully remove the sealing plug from the 30ml Ceramic bottle and gently apply 4-6 drops of product onto the end of the Applicator Towel.
In an even and smooth action start to work the Ceramic onto the Plastic and Rubber trims in a long consistent sweeping motion ensuring that no drips or runs are occurring.
Continue to re-apply more Ceramic Liquid to the Applicator Pad as required to completely cover the area.
Once the product has been on the surface for approx 20-30 seconds take a snort nap microfibre towel and wipe the freshly coated surface to level any high spots and ensure that the product has been evenly dispersed.
Re-application can be carried out in 20 minute intervals to allow the first layer to bond first. (One application is normally enough)
(Flash times will vary depending on Temperature and will users will see the Ceramic Flashing quicker or slower in various conditions)
Ideal Temp conditions are 21.5 – 24 Degrees Celsius for 20 second flash times.
additional suede coating towels may be required for larger areas. The suede towels will harden after time depending on humidty.

Ensure that the the sealing plug is replaced securely during application or a finger is placed over the top of the bottle to avoid any unnecessary moisture or hardening of the contents.
Always clean the neck of the product after use as the Ceramic will harden and crystallise around the threads.
